Job Position: Mid-level or Senior Symfony Front-End Developer

Job Location: Tirana, Albania

Skooli is seeking a passionate FrontEnd Developer to join our growing team! As a member of the tech team, this individual will create solutions to enhance Skooli’s user experience.

Role Responsibilities
 

• Integration of user-facing elements developed by a front-end developers with server side logic
• Work with cross functional team to analyze business requirements, design solutions and create roadmaps for delivery
• Develop software that meets requirements, and is secure, performant, reusable and reliable

Required Skills and Qualifications:
 

• Proven experience working with Symfony, specifically with Symfony Twig
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Experience working in an Agile / Scrum team environment
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks (React/Redux), jQuery
• Solid understanding of Restful APIs
• Knowledge of Webpack module builder and Gulp task runner
• Responsive and mobile design skills
• A solid understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
• Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• An understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that the application will adhere to them

It would be great if you also had:
 

• Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image.
• Familiarity with tools such as Gimp or Photoshop
